We only call it a nutrient for lack of a better word. Transfer factors are unlike any known nutrient.

Transfer Factors exist in your immune system. They are the "intelligence" of your immune system. Transfer factors are tiny information molecules that regulate our many body functions. Transfer factors are regulators of our health. We already have transfer factors in our body but most of the time we do not have enough of them and we need to supply our body with Transfer Factors. These transfer factors regulate a great number of our immune system cells and body chemicals. Transfer factors also regulate the body's production of antioxidants.

Transfer factors are involved in or influence a number of body functions and processes, such as the immune system, detoxification, cellular rejuvenation, anti-oxidation and the aging process. Transfer factors store information and use that information to regulate our health. Transfer factors use amino acids to store this information. The amino acids change sequences like the alphabet. Imagine how many words twenty-six letters of the alphabet can spell. There are 44 amino acids in a transfer factor.

Transfer Factors Are Like Little Brains

Transfer factors are like little brains floating throughout our body. For example, transfer factors store information about the characteristics of the chicken pox germ. When the germ re-enters the body, transfer factors recognize these germs and communicate to our immune system cells to kill the germ. Because of this, we don't develop chicken pox a second time.

Transfer Factors Aids In Killing Off Cancer Cells

Everyday our body develops mutated cells, which develop into cancer cells if not destroyed. How does the body recognize these mutations? Transfer factors are involved in the recognition process and they signal Natural Killer (NK) cells to destroy the mutated cells.

The question is-does our body have enough transfer factors to activate our immune system to intelligently and efficiently destroy cancer cells present in our body through NK Cells?

1. Inadequate transfer factors in our body can result in the cancer cells developing undetected.

An example of how transfer factors work can be observed when we come in contact with a chicken pox germ. The first time we come in contact with the chicken pox germ, we develop chicken pox. Throughout your life, we come in contact with the chicken pox germ again and again but only develop the chicken pox disease once. Why?

2. Unregulated immune cells will try to destroy the cancer cells in a random manner and as a result also destroy other healthy cells in our body-just like trying to shoot a mosquito with a machine gun.

3. Adequate transfer factors in our body will enable our immune cells to recognize the cancer cells immediately and destroy it individually without destroying other healthy cells-just like a sniper killing off its target with precision.

Natural Killer (NK) Cells Kill Virus Infected Cells As Well As Cancer Cells

Transfer factors directly support the NK cells of the immune system. NK Cells which are specially equipped to locate and kill diseased cells provide the front line of defense.

NK cells attach to the surfaces of foreign substances or their outer cell wall, and inject a chemical "grenade" (granule) into the interior. Once inside, the granules explode and destroy the foreign invader within five minutes. The NK cell itself remains intact and moves on to destroy the next immune attacker.

Many doctors and clinics find transfer factors helpful in promoting NK function and activity as well as supporting a healthy immune system for all patients.

Transfer Factor Plus is able to raise the NK cell activity to 437% above baseline, the highest in the world. There is no other natural food supplement that has a higher activation of NK cell, together with immune information needed to help NK cells kill off cancer cells with precision.

Transfer Factors Regulate Allergic Reaction

This is another example of how transfer factors work. Harmless particles enter and pass through our body everyday. Sometimes our immune system doesn't recognize these particles, such as pollen, dust etc., as harmless and in turn reacts to them as if they are harmful. The result is allergies.

Transfer factors are involved in regulating thisprocess. When transfer factors in our body do their job, our immune system will recognize the harmless particles for what they are and will not react to them, letting them pass through our body without any reaction.

Transfer Factors Help Our Cells To Stay Young

Transfer factors also regulate the body's production of antioxidants. This is a very important factor in our battle against pre-mature aging and disease. Antioxidants that are consumed (from vitamins, minerals, herbs, etc.) must make their way through a dysfunctional digestive system, through a clogged circulatory system, through collapsed capillaries and through cell membranes that are hardening with age and make it more difficult for nutrients to reach the cells. At the end of the day, not much of the nutrients get to where it is needed.

Furthermore, these antioxidants (from vitamins, minerals, herbs, etc.) work from outside the cells whereas transfer factors work from within the cell, inside-out.

Transfer Factors Are Highly Absorbable

Transfer factors are very tiny in size therefore pass through the digestive system and small intestinal wall very easily to reach the cells. Other competitive supplements make a big deal out of being extra absorbable, but no nutritional product can compare to transfer factors' ability to move anywhere in the body.

Size measurements:
. Insulin
-approx. 6,000-10,000 Daltons
. Transfer factor
-approx. 3,500-10,000 Daltons
. Cytokines
-approx. 300-400 Daltons

Transfer factors are more of a soup than individual molecules floating through our body. Within this transfer factor soup are tiny cytokines that weigh as little as 300-400 Daltons. Transfer factors use these cytokines to communicate to other cells.

Transfer factors increase the actual production of natural antioxidants from within the cells. This is a key to staying well and younger, functionally.

Within the cell are mitochondria. Mitochondria are small structures that produce cellular energy which allows each cell, gland, organ etc. to do their jobs. The mitochondria process and manufactures energy but also creates millions of free radicals as a by product. Free radicals damage cells. Transfer factors increase the production of antioxidants from within the cells; and this assures that we are experiencing the greatest possible protection.

Transfer Factors = Nano Technology

Cytokines are small proteins released by cells. They have a specific effect on the interactions of cells, on communications between cells or on the behavior of cells. Cytokines are 300-400 Daltons in size which make it a nano sized communicative protein.

Transfer factors communicate through very small cytokines which pass easily through the cell membrane into the part of the cell that produces glutathione which acts as antioxidants within the cell. By consuming Transfer Factor, there is more free glutathione, catalase and ascobates available to cells.

Transfer factors increase the production of glutathione-s-transferase by nearly 50%.Glutathione and catalase are very powerful antioxidants that are produced within the cell-much more powerful than the antioxidants that we consume. Research found that through consuming Transfer Factors oxidation is reduced by approximately 35% at cellular level. This is much more than what any combination of antioxidants can do in
reducing oxidation. When the oxidation is reduced, there will be more glutathione available to be converted into glutathione-s-transferase for detoxification at a cellular level.

Transfer factors increase the production of glutathione-s-transferase by nearly 150%.

Glutathiones supplements taken orally are not effective as the molecule is large and most of it is either destroyed by the digestive system before they even reach the cells or not absorbed at all.

Some supplements boast of having high ORAC value - Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity (antioxidant measurement), as high as 72,000 ORAC for mangosteen juice, but our body can only absorb 6,000 ORAC at one given time therefore the rest just goes to waste.

Compared to the more common detoxification methods of the blood, liver & colon, transfer factors detoxifies the whole body at cellular level from the tip of your hair to your toe nails.

For more information on transfer factors, please do visit my website http://4life2u.com/r/proviz

If you are keen on building a business that brings about a very lucrative passive income, you may also click on the following link: www.myincomesystem.com/proviz.html

Back to the Blogging World!

Hi friends! Welcome me back to the blogger world! I know it has been a long time. Almost a year has past since either Kenny or me have posted anything on this spot.

I thank God firstly that Kenny has been doing well on the alternative treatment for his condition, Nasal Pharyngeal Carcinoma.

We have however switched his treatment to taking products from a company in the US called 4Life. He is now taking a heavy dosage of Transfer Factors and boy, is he having a time of his life with healing reactions or crisis, as some wouldl call it. As they all say, with alternative treatments, it will have to get worse before it gets better.

Let me tell you a little story:-

Suppose you own an antique dining room table which is worth many tens of thousands of dollars. Suppose your butler tells you that there are dozens of cockroaches crawling around on your priceless table and you will be having dinner guests in one hour.

Your butler informs you that his job description does not include killing cockroaches and as he is leaving your house he offers you four options for getting rid of the cockroaches:
1)He offers you a chainsaw to "slash" the little critters to pieces,
2)He offers you a large and powerful flamethrower to "burn" the critters to pieces,
3)He offers you 2 gallons of a highly, highly toxic liquid chemical to "poison" the
critters, and
4) He offers you an old $1 flyswatter.

Which of the four options would you use to get rid of the cockroaches? Would you choose one of the first three options (slash, burn and poison) because they are highly potent at killing cockroaches or would you choose the cheap, wimpy flyswatter?

Think about why you would make your choice.

Most likely you would pick the flyswatter because the other three items (which are far more powerful than a flyswatter at killing cockroaches) are also massively powerful at destroying your priceless table!!

Chemotherapy (the toxic chemical above), surgery (the chainsaw above) and radiation (the flamethrower above) do kill cancer cells, but they also kill healthy cells (the priceless antique table), damage the immune system, damage the ability of your digestive tract to process nutrients, etc. because they do not target cancer cells. Thus, these treatments cannot cure cancer (which has spread) without killing the patient first.

By comparison, alternative cancer treatments (the flyswatter), while not as powerful as the other items, are far more effective at treating cancer because these treatments either target cancer cells or do not damage your healthy cells, Thus they can be given in much higher doses than any of the "orthodox" cancer treatments. Plus the many alternative cancer treatments can generally be combined.

A person can drink a quart of carrot juice but they cannot drink a quart of chemotherapy!!

As this short article will explain, the vast superiority of alternative cancer treatments goes far, far beyond the issue of toxicity!!

Because most people know far more about orthodox cancer treatments than they know about alternative cancer treatments, and based on numerous conversations I have had with many people regarding cancer, it is obvious to me that almost every person on Earth believes that pharmaceutical drugs are the only effective cancer treatments and that God has not put any cures for cancer in Mother Nature.

Excuse me for stating the obvious, but this is akin to believing that medicinal chemists know more about cancer than God knows about cancer or that God does not care about His own children!!

Because people know virtually nothing truthful about alternative cancer treatments; more than 99% of all cancer patients begin their cancer treatment with chemotherapy, radiation, surgery and other man-made cancer treatments.

What this means is that almost all cancer patients who want to learn about alternative cancer treatments have already had extensive orthodox cancer treatments. The number I always hear from people who deal with cancer patients is that about 95% of all cancer patients who seek out alternative cancer treatments have already had extensive orthodox cancer treatments.

This is not only a very, very sad statistic but more importantly it is an indication that these patients need massive amounts of good information quickly.

In my next post I will tell you more about Transfer Factors! In the meantime, hi to all my friends out there who are reading my blog!

Birthday Celebration (by Kenny)

Recently we had a joint birthday celebration, Rebecca and my mother in-law. In general term, it's a nose cancer at the nasal area and cannot be operated. The tumour has already infiltrated into the skull of my head to the brain. After consulting with several onocologist from various hospitals,it was confirmed that I'm in stage T4No and the only treatment is through chemotherapy and radiotherapy of which is not only expensive (ranging from RM 40,000-RM 90,000) but dangerous. Not only will I be partial deaf, I may lose my eyesight along side with other side effects. So what other choice besides the modern medication.

I was introduced to alternate/complimentary medication by a friend of my sister. Initially I was very negative about this sort of treatment as it is not been medically proven and the person treating me is not a real qualified doctor. What does he knows about treating my conditions? After much encouragement from my wife and family members, I took up courage and seek complimentary treatment about 3 months ago. Before the treatment, I used to weight 110kgs (I was very fat with big tummy :)). I'm also a pre diabetic with high blood pressure. See below photos, before (left) and after treatment (right).
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_JuH6FC-oRAU/Sht0rQBctnI/AAAAAAAAAJc/tkd8PuSipts/s320/DSCN0687.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5339990069562095218" />  <img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_JuH6FC-oRAU/Sht1TfMlkTI/AAAAAAAAAJk/bYvtsRx0y1U/s320/DSCN0900.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5339990760830112050" />
After going through the treatment, my weight is now 85kgs, a total lost of 25kgs in 3 months. Good news is I'm no longer diabetic and my blood pressure has been normalize. This is indeed a good way of losing weight the healthy way. This method of treatment requires strict discipline and involve change of eating habits and lifestyle. It is all about eating right with good supplements to boost up our body immune system to fight back. I heard lots of people have survived through this method. However not many people can follow and go through it.

Some of the strict rules in this method as follows:-

1. No rice, noodles, cakes, bread and anything that contains carbohydrate/sugar. Cancer thrives on sugar (cancer cells consumes 5 times more glucose requirement compared with ordinary cells in our body). Many fruits also contains sugar (fructose/glucose). Avoid fruits like water melon (the most dangerous of all fruits), papaya, mango and etc.

2. No eating meat especially red meat like beef, mutton,chicken. However fish can be eaten except for cod fish as it is toxic. You may ask why do I get my energy from. Take lots of protein either from eating or from drinks like potatoes, millet rice, coco drinks minus the sugar.

3. No beverages like milo, coffee, teh tarik and etc because it contains sugar.

4. No salt even soy sauce as it would inflame the tumour.

5. Eat lots of vegetables as raw as possible. Light stir fry is allowable but with less oil. Normal cooking oil is not recommended. Use grapeseed oil instead.

6. Try changing body composition from acidic to alkali. Drink alkali water instead. So far only two available machine that produce alkali water, one is from Panasonic (of which I have bought one myself) and the other one from Korea called Melody.

7. As alkali water machine are expensive (ranging from RM 1700-3400), other alternative to produce alkali water is to squeeze some lemon into the water before drinking it. When lemon water absorb into our body, it will turn into alkali.

8. Take lots of anti-oxidant supplements. Good brands are not cheap but they are more effective. Brands like USANA Health Science, New Life, Amway are the better ones and usually they are only available through direct marketing (MLM). Most of the supplements sold off shelf in the pharmarcy do not meet up with the grade.

9. Do not stress up. Be happy and always be in good mood. Good mood produce good chemicals in our brain which is good for our body.

10. Excercise. Regular excercise will help promotes oxygen. Cancer do not like oxygen. They are anaerobic in nature.

11. Most important is PRAY. Our God is a healer. All things are possible through HIM. It is also been proven through studies and research. Scientist do not have the answer but we, as the children of God knows why it works right?

There more detailed rules that one must follow strictly in order to maintain a healty life. For example, what vegetables is good for what or what kind of food can be taken. Try avoiding big fish especially the imported ones as they contains carbide chemical to perserve their long journey here.

The above food diet is not easy to follow through. It requires strict discipline. I'm blessed because my wife is very strict with my diet. For cancer diagnose person, one has no choice but to follow through if they do not want to go through chemo and radiotheraphy. Statistic shows about 70% of cancer diagnose survived from the following diet. Those who failed (and died) is because they could not follow it through and get back to their normal eating habit.

The above diet is not only for people who is suffering from cancer. It is also good to maintain a healthy diet so that we can live longer and healthier. It also saves money from visiting doctors. One good point is to get yourself a medical insurance as you will never know when you would need it.

Lifestyle disease like Cancer, Heart Attack, Diabetes can be fatal and it can be avoided if we change our diet and lifestyle. So remember to keep a healthy lifestlye. Finally, ask yourself this question, do we live to eat or we eat to live?

Latest member in Seow family (by Kenny)

We recently celebrated our niece's (my younger brother's baby daughter) full moon with a gathering among families and friends.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_JuH6FC-oRAU/SVnsRMV1xgI/AAAAAAAAAIU/wqO0fC1Rwdk/s320/DSCN0632.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5285515417810748930" />
Can't imagine we are uncle and aunty now. Since everyone is into it, I thought of giving it a try. So this is my first blog on the recent vacation we took in Langkawi.

Recently I took my wife for a short break to Langkawi. Both of us are really excited as it has been a while since we step foot to Langkawi. Below are the events of our memorable tour.

The flight from LCCT to Langkawi took about an hour. Upon arrival, I rented a car as it would be more convenience for us to move about. To our surprised, we were offered a brand new Nissan Latio 1.6 for only RM 240 for 4 days and 3 nights.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_JuH6FC-oRAU/SRvN7Kh_ZqI/AAAAAAAAAE4/-haKu7p19Ko/s320/DSCN0627.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268030605462824610" />

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_JuH6FC-oRAU/SRvO1kpEA2I/AAAAAAAAAFA/bStcqpdOD6Y/s320/DSCN0624.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268031608904221538" /> We adjourn to check in at the hotel. We checked in at Langkasuka Resort which is 5 minutes away from the airport. Overall the resort was up to our expectation with a nice swimming pool and a marvellous beach view. We had a slight discomfort initially due to the air conditioning in our room but it was rectified. <img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_JuH6FC-oRAU/SRvRHcIuTQI/AAAAAAAAAFI/_4Pi9iAb_oM/s320/DSCN0619.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268034114881998082" />

Upon checking in, we took a short rest before heading for the hotel's swimming pool. Later in the evening, we drove to Tanjung Rhu beach to see the sunset. It was indeed a wonderful view.

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_JuH6FC-oRAU/SRvXhuXLp1I/AAAAAAAAAFQ/FNPxo_FykBQ/s320/DSCN0413.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268041163520845650" />

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_JuH6FC-oRAU/SRvY2GfRFXI/AAAAAAAAAFY/9gws9hl27gc/s320/DSCN0414.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268042613106218354" />

After the beach, we head down to Kuah town for our dinner. We eat at a small chinese hawker stall called Wonderland Seafood which is reasonably cheap. We took a short trip to one of the largest shopping mall in Kuah town before heading back to our hotel and rested.

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_JuH6FC-oRAU/SRvaqSW0rUI/AAAAAAAAAFg/MYgLYhbju2U/s320/DSCN0432.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268044609156853058" />
Day 2: After our breakfast at the hotel, we drove to Oriental Village and Langkawi Cable car. The journey was about 30 minutes away from our hotel. Upon arrival, we took the cable car ride to the peak. The view from the peak was fantastic as you can view the whole of Langkawi island. It was rather misty and cooling. We meet a couple of friends from Rusia and Pakistan.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_JuH6FC-oRAU/SRvd-LneoqI/AAAAAAAAAF4/mHTfwYEpa10/s320/DSCN0438.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268048249479930530" />

We took the opportunity to buy some duty free stuffs in Oriental Village. We also managed to take some photos with a hawk and an eagle. Rebecca dare not put them on her hand fearing that the birds would tear off her skin with their sharp claws. On the other hand, I was having fun time with them.

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_JuH6FC-oRAU/SRvfM1SrD5I/AAAAAAAAAGA/ILny5RYz-ns/s320/DSCN0454.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268049600696749970" />

Our next destination is the Underwater World to see the various types of fish. They also have Penguins (like the ones in Happy Feet) being display there. Our timing was just perfect as it was feeding time for the sharks. We are trilled to see so many types of fishes of which I've not seen before. It was really an enjoyable experience.

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_JuH6FC-oRAU/SRviEVDv_vI/AAAAAAAAAGI/9WnK1wJK25c/s320/DSCN0471.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268052753140154098" />    <img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_JuH6FC-oRAU/SRvmVWoL31I/AAAAAAAAAGo/UAIQntRsy00/s320/DSCN0502.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268057443665698642" />

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_JuH6FC-oRAU/SRvqDoXp6DI/AAAAAAAAAG4/B1kGK4tn6wE/s320/DSCN0480.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268061537237067826" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_JuH6FC-oRAU/SRvoETZqgrI/AAAAAAAAAGw/HP5mgDcji0k/s320/DSCN0504.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268059349764965042" />

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_JuH6FC-oRAU/SRvkYLPpZwI/AAAAAAAAAGY/eP_Tn7g0Ns8/s320/DSCN0501.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268055293126338306" />

As we were tired after a long day of walking, we adjourn back to Kuah for our dinner. We had our dinner at the same place we had before as it was really worth the money. This time around we ordered tiger prawns with some other seafood dishes. After dinner, we decided to heal our soaring feet by doing foot reflexology at one of the shopping mall. We reached back to the hotel almost 10.30pm. Despite our tireness, we managed to enjoy ourselves by singing at the karaoke lounge. Although I'm backing up in Sunday worship but I can still manage to belt out some oldies together with my wife.

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_JuH6FC-oRAU/SRvr4aeYqMI/AAAAAAAAAHA/7mtu5kfHRh4/s320/DSCN0514.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268063543551895746" /> Day 3: After our breakfast, we were all ready to begin our tour in this wonderful island. We started off by visiting Mahsuri Tomb According to legend, Mahsuri was wrongfully excuted due to teachery. <img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_JuH6FC-oRAU/SRvtPp0fxPI/AAAAAAAAAHI/FnOQKy4qZS0/s320/DSCN0519.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268065042319787250" />
Before her last breath, she laid a curse that Langkawi will not be peaceful and properous for the next seven generation. She bleeds white blood that proves her innocent.

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_JuH6FC-oRAU/SRvu8B9CCYI/AAAAAAAAAHQ/_rXjpGPShdk/s320/DSCN0525.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268066904223910274" />
On the way to our next destination, we drove up to Gunung Raya to see what is up at the peak of the mountain. It was quite misty on the way up to the peak of about 2,500meters above sea level. We saw a lovely resort that is currently under construction As there was a coffee house within, we took the opportunity to see what's the outlook of the hotel.<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_JuH6FC-oRAU/SRvwgskSdGI/AAAAAAAAAHY/uA_NBFWNMi4/s320/DSCN0527.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268068633649771618" />
It rather a nice relaxing place to unwind and relax. We were told that the room rate would be about RM 1,500 per night. We managed to take some shots. You be the judge whether it's worth spending RM 1,500 a night here.

We drove to our next destination which is the Wildlife Park located near the hotspring. We didn't go to the hotspring as we had tried that before when we were in Sabah.

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_JuH6FC-oRAU/SRv0BGadFWI/AAAAAAAAAHg/FK-48euKASY/s320/DSCN0557.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268072488878544226" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_JuH6FC-oRAU/SRv1t-G2VGI/AAAAAAAAAHo/IlIfV_J0SrA/s320/DSCN0564.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268074359254570082" />
We were quite relunctant to go in initially as we thought it would be as boring as the Bird Park in KL. Moreover the entrance fees is rather high at RM 24 per pax. To our surprise, we were given a 50% discount as we are holders of MYKad. We didn't regret at all as we had great time feeding the animals and birds. We managed to take some photos.<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_JuH6FC-oRAU/SR0IkvnXtsI/AAAAAAAAAHw/txCpZyp5ngM/s320/DSCN0586.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268376566443259586" />

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_JuH6FC-oRAU/SR0Jt7SrDGI/AAAAAAAAAH4/dr-KbCZ17a0/s320/DSCN0600.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268377823708122210" />
We head down to the famous Lang Square in Kuah town to take some photos. Such a wonderful view.<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_JuH6FC-oRAU/SR0LMKtpeZI/AAAAAAAAAIA/XLF1xGW_A0Q/s320/DSCN0592.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268379442755500434" />
A it was getting late, we were quite tired after a long day's walk and we decided to head back to our hotel and treat ourselves by dinning at the hotel since it was our last night in Langkawi. We had steamboat coupled with some side dishes of prawns and sqiuds. We really enjoyed our dinner and surprisingly it only cost us RM 76.00 with all the seafood.

Day 4: We are ready to pack up for our journey back to KL. After breakfast, we checked out and head to the airport for our departure back to KL.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_JuH6FC-oRAU/SR0MZBYBUdI/AAAAAAAAAII/pxAQup5N0O0/s320/DSCN0628.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268380763098796498" />

It was a memorable trip which is fun. So what has been happening on these recent weekends? Weddings weddings and more weddings....

It was a client and friend's wedding late September at Overseas Restaurant at Jaya One. Long wait for the ceremony.......as is usually the case at all chinese weddings. Then for two consecutive weekends, it was the wedding of the year...... Edwin & Wendy. Edwin is Kenny's cousin. And so it was a bz weekend. First weekend in Sri Petaling for the tea cereomony then off to Bangsar Seafood at nite for the dinner.

The following week, it was off to Genting for Edwin and Wendy's second wedding dinnner. It was fun time getting dressed and making up with my sisters in law Lena and Lindy. I learnt some technices how to apply makeup better. Hehe!

Dinner was late...as usual........with most chinese wedding dinners it is always fashionably one hour late. There were six of us at the table as some did not show up. Later one of the aunty's got bored at the main table decided to join us. Ample food indeed that nite.........Altogether it was fun.

No more weddings till December.........and we will also be celebrating our first anniversary...this December!!!

family times

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_JuH6FC-oRAU/SNSaDS7k7jI/AAAAAAAAABo/z49a_vTPFy8/s320/MIL+Birthday+Dinner.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5247988847205477938" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_JuH6FC-oRAU/SNSZ_NY-2NI/AAAAAAAAABg/cC2etUAyzUs/s320/Lena%27s+birthday+pic.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5247988776998721746" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_JuH6FC-oRAU/SNSZrU2JU3I/AAAAAAAAABY/q4l9dQQBqNM/s320/102_0566.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5247988435402707826" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_JuH6FC-oRAU/SNSZLiWrQeI/AAAAAAAAABQ/iqa8J5Dz-JA/s320/102_0563.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5247987889272996322" />
I have been pretty busy lately. This is one of the rare Saturdays I get to sneak off to the office to clear admin work. I decided to take a break and add in some precious photos taken during some of the family gatherings we had in 2007/2008. Now that I am married I am blessed to have an extended family in my in-laws!! =)

The Flu Season Again

The last two weeks have been challenging for us. My other half came down with a flu and I tried to be the best dutiful wife to take care of him. So it was boiling soups, porridge, herbal teas etc. He was better in about 5 days but is now having a trailing stubborn cough and sinus congestion. I did catch it but I managed to fight it somewhat and am just having a sinus congestion. We have been dutifully using the neti pot to try to clear it off. It has helped and I have not needed to resort to antibiotics to tackle the problem.

On a lighter note, if anyone out there needs a job or have friends that are looking for temporary jobs, do let me know. School leavers and those who are wanting to earn some extra income can apply. The company is conveniently located in PJ. Do drop me a line if anyone is keen ya?

I will be posting more photos here in future..........just got a new camera and I am trying to figure out how to use it.

Our favourite babies

I love going to worship services on Sundays. It is good to be able to have a corporate worship service with friends and be refreshed in God's presence. It is a time we get to serve the Lord on the worship team and move in His presence also!

Besides that, Kenny & I also love to "kidnap" the babies around us. All the cute babies like Rachel, Sarah and Janson. They are all irresistible! Baby Sarah is always sooooooo cute and so cuddly. She doesn't mind being carried and tickled! Baby Rachel is now begining to do some very cute baby talk. She chatters during the service and can be quite amusing when she does that. Kenny loves her to bits!

It is also our prayer n hope that the Lord will soon bless us with our very own bundle of joy! I have been using nasal sprays and every now and then end up on antibiotics when the sinus gets infected.

One day, while chatting with my friend Sharon who is residing in US, she mentioned this neti pot that had helped relief her chronic sinus problems. She told me that she now does not need to go for surgery anymore and that this wonder pot helped her. This set me off on an extensive research on the net and around the pharmacies for this "pot" None of our pharmacies here had the pot. Some had customerse asking about it also. Then another friend mentioned that she saw it on Oprah Winfrey where they interviewed Dr. Oz. And I managed to see it on the net.

How does it work?

The neti pot looks like a little aladdin's lamp. You have to place in it a saline solution made of warm filtered water and some non-iodised salt. Place the spout of the pot in one nostril and tilt your head. Amazingly you will find the saline solution flowing out of your other nostril. Yes I know it sounds gross but it works!!

How did I get the pot?

I asked Sharon to get the pot and the salt for me from US. I tried it two weeks ago and found that I could breathe so much easier. Now, Kenny and I dutifully "clean out" our noses daily.

So for those of you sinus sufferers, this is a good solution. Much better than spraying all that sterroid into your noses and introducing toxin to our fragile bodies.

I showed the neti pot to my regular pharmacist in Damansara Utama PJ. Hope she will bring it to Malaysia and all of you can soon find it on the shelves of our local pharmacist.

A million thanks to Sharon for sharing n shipping!

DATING ALL OVER AGAIN

It was a nice weekend that I spent with my laokong (i.e. husband for those of you who r not familiar with Chinese :) ). We spent Friday evening looking for a dinner spot before cell meeting. Ended up at ss2 PJ. Having parked our car near Poh Kong, we noticed a whole bunch of folks flocked around the shop next to Poh Kong. We walked over n saw that they were watching Malaysia's very own Olympic medalist doing his stuff on the court. It was fun n thrilling watching the match together with these guys............even the regular Alliance Bank guard was there cheering! Some of these guys placed bets n were anxiously waiting for the match to go on.

We decided to try out "The Cave" restaurant. We had been wondering what it was about. They stated on their banner it was a "couple cafe". Hehe. It was fun. We were ushered right up to the first floor. The whole place was dimly lit and had the setting of a cave.........very rough walls all around. We were seated in one of the caves. Each cave could seat at least four people. They had big scatter cushions all around the sofa. I could not even order my food and my hubby had to do it for me. The lighting was just way too dim for my eyes. I had a ceasar salad with turkey ham and a fruit flavored tea (ymmy!) and Kenny had a carbonara based pasta with iced lemon tea. The food was average in quality but it was a fun experience. The aircond was super cool and they offered me a scarf of which I glad accepted. So dinner ended and off to cell group meeting we headed. It was inspiring sharing by Kim San and Wei Yin on the mission trip they made. Will share more another time.

Saturday evening saw us at The Pavillion, Bukit Bintang. We went by MRT from Brickfields. Er, it was a date but we had my sister tag along............haha. So we shopped about and got some good bargains on clothes. We ended up at Sakae Sushi for dinner and had a long wait for our food as the place was jam packed. Later, we walked around Bintang Walk. Man, the whole place was jam packed with tourist but it was fun! By the time we got home was passed midnite.

I enjoyed the time spent with my darling hubby. It is good to take some time off our busy schedules to just have undivided attention for each other. It helps to bring us closer. Ahem.........I hope that when the young ones come along, we will be able to find willing aunties and uncles to babysit for us while we go off dating once in a while to keep the fire burning!!

A hectic weekend

This was a rather hectic weekend for both of us. Saturday saw me at the hair saloon trying to "rescue" my hair. It all started on Tuesday night when I had my hair rebonded and had a hair cut. I was told not to wash my hair until Thursday morning. I dutiful followed the advice. After a nice hair wash on Thursday, I set out for the office with Kenny. I touched my hair and it felt strange. Soon Kenny began to notice that I had that "afro" look. Omigosh!! The hair was all dried up and frizzy. So I marched right back to the hair saloon that Saturday and had them "redo" it. It seemed better after that.........but it was still rather dry.

Anyway, it wass off to a meeting with some friends for a potential business "tie-up" discussion at McD over at Centrepoint. Nothing formal - just shorts and tees over some burgers. Then, it was off to our usual dinner at my in-laws at USJ. On the way there, I received an sms from Stephanie requesting for backup in church during the worship service. So I said I would back her up on Sunday and got the dress code and all.

Come Sunday, we had worship service. Then off to lunch with my sister Daph and then back to office. I had a bunch of clients coming over later that nite to sign some documents on an urgent basis. I tried to keep awake while preparing the documents................zzzzzzzzzz......Then off home we went. Took a nap in front of the TV watching the awesomely strong women weightlifting. Then it was off to a steamboat dinner at Bandar Puteri with my folks and sister. You guys should try the porridge steamboat there. It is cool!

Then after dinner we took a quick round at Giants and ended up buying some new plants for the house. We started this new hobby a week ago and now our little balcony boasts of some 15 pots of an assortment of indoor ferns!! Hehe! It is more my hubby taking care of these new "babies". He even bought some anti slip mats to spread out on the floor of our balcony.

10 pm sharp we clocked in at the office. Parked the car right in front of the office and looked across and saw a couple that had just arrive also. Assuming it was the new clients we walked over and asked wether they were the ones and vice versa. Hehe! My other client was supposed to arrive before them to make the formal introduction but that was now no longer necessary. So at 1145pm we were done. We said our goodbyes and locked up the office and headed to the lifts. To our horror both lifts had been turned off. So I remembered I had the security office no. in my handphone and in a matter of minutes they lift was turned on. Gladly we took it and made our way home. So glad to have my hubby to accompany me throughout the whole time. Even the client commented that it was good of him to be there!! So it was a tiring but fruitful weekend all in all!

DRAMA AT THE SERVICE STATION

DRAMA AT THE PERODUA SERVICE STATION AT JALAN 227 PJ

It started off as a normal visit to the service station. I had handed the car keys to the staff and was letting them know what needed attention in my car. All of a sudden, the staff started shouting "oh, sudah bakar!" I was puzzled and thought it was a fire within the service station. Then the attendant that was taking down my request pointed outside the building to a lamp post that was on fire. There was intermittent small explosions that was taking place. Then the guys started pointing to a kanchil that was parked pretty close to the lamp post. They quickly got out a trolley and about 4 of the men managed to push the car off to a safe place.

As the lamp post continued to send out sparks and all the curious onlookers had gathered around the scene, but maintained a safe distance from the fire. Soon, a fire engine arrived, and in a matter of seconds they managed to put out the fire. They however remained there for some time and the mini explosions started up again. Then came along the Tenaga folks. Soon the whole drama was over.

It was however one very very hot waiting for my car. The electricity in the service station had been cut due to the fire. So the moment they called out my car no. I rushed to the clerk, quickly settled the payment and was out of the place in a jiffy.

My Second Encounter With The Big "C"

Recently, during a visit to my doctor for a skin allergy, Kenny asked the doctor to do a pap smear for me. I had never done this test before as a single as I couldn't bear the thought of someone examining me in that part of my anatomy.

During the test, I saw the look of shock on my doctor's face and I knew something was not right. I was bleeding and she told me that there was something in there. As I got off the examining table, she asked me to call Kenny to her office as she wanted to explain the situation to both of us. As we set nervously in front of her, she said that there was a polyp in there and that I should get it removed asap. During that time, I walked out to take a call. The appointment was then made to see her husband at Tawakal Hospital on the following Friday. As we drove home, Kenny told me that during the time when I stepped out to take the call, my doctor told him to be prepared that the growth may be cancerous. I already suspected that as I saw the "horrified" look on her face and how she said she was so sorry to have to tell me that there was this "alien" object inside me.

So off to Dr. Fong's clinic at Tawakal on Friday and the appointment was made to have it removed on the following Tuesday. Early Tuesday morning, I was up by 5 am. I spent some time praying before preparing to leave for the hospital. We left our home in the pouring rain. As we were about to arrive at the hospital, a Kanchil sped by from behind and hit us at the back. Before we could do anything the car had sped off. I determined in my heart not to let the incident affect me. So at 7.30 am we signed in. They took my blood sample, my blood pressure etc. Off to the operation theatre and it was all done in 20 minutes.

When the general aneasthetic wore out, the doctor came in to check on me. He insisted both of us take a good look at the polyp. It was a gross pale looking tissue the size of an adult thumb. I was discharged on Wednesday morning and went home to mom to recuperate.

On Friday afternoon, my family doctor called me up and was so glad that she could not wait to tell me the biopsy results - the growth was benign!! Praise the Lord for His saving grace and mercy again. He did it once for me way back in 2001 when there was a growth on my tongue.

On Saturday afternoon, I went back to my family doctor for the detailed biopsy report. They said the growth was inflammed, bleedy and had very perforated walls. So it was not a normal polyp that is usually small and smooth. My doctor said that she and her husband felt very uneasy when they saw it and thought it was a malignant growth. Thank God for His hand upon our lives.

Ladies, please do go for a regular pap smear test as this could save your life! My doctor said that regardless of whether a person is married or not, it is essential to have this done in order to have early detection of any abnormality in the cervix. I thank God that my hubby insisted I did the test.

My first posting on my blog!

Well, this is my maiden post on my very own blog spot!
